About Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competition Team

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling sport that focuses on overcoming opponents through technique, strategy, physical conditioning, and mental strength, rather than relying only on size or strength. Athletes use various techniques, including Position Control, Escapes, Sweeps, Passes, Takedowns, and Submissions, to create advantageous situations and gain control during competition.
Competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu goes beyond simply learning techniques. Athletes must develop the ability to make quick decisions and move effectively under pressure. Through repetitive technical training and live sparring, competitors improve their timing, pressure, movement, and strategic thinking to maximize their performance.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is often called “Human Chess” because every moment of a match requires athletes to analyze their opponent’s movements, make the best decisions, and create victory through technique and strategy.
